Wonder if this means ABC/Disney is going to throw down with the FCC? Bundled into this is Kimmel as well.

    3. Isn’t this just a revival of the fairness doctrine, that long time bogeyman of conservatives that hasn’t been a thing since the Reagan administration?

    4. > In [a filing with the agency ](https://www.fcc.gov/ecfs/document/10507899614175/1)on Thursday, the network said that “some may dislike certain—**or even most**—of the viewpoints expressed on *The View* or similar shows. Such dislike, however, cannot justify using regulatory processes to restrict those views.”

Wow, way to subtly throw shade at your own talent. Jesus Christ, these corporations are at war between their wallets and their dignity.

Couldn’t they provide equal time by bringing on a Republican and absolutely grilling them?

cant they just give a maga person a show and run it at like 2am?

    8. Isn’t the equal time rule about giving equal time to candidates for public office? They either follow the directions of the FCC or file a lawsuit in court. They are simply trying to get outrage.

    9. The FCC is corrupt under the Trump administration – like a lot of Trump’s government.

Didn’t republicans lose their shit over the fairness doctrine back in the 80s?
