      **Kripke:**

      > “None of the things that happen in the last few episodes will matter if you don’t flesh out the characters. I’m getting a lot of online dissatisfaction, to put it politely. And I’m like, ‘What are you expecting? Are you expecting a huge battle scene every episode?’”

      > “At no point during the writing of it was I like, ‘Oh yeah, we’re making filler episodes. So who cares?’ We all thought at the time we’re really getting these important character details. We have something like 14 characters, maybe 15. And I owe it to all of them — in that television is the character business — I owe it to all of them to flesh them out and humanize them and their stories.”

I think everyone is just ready to be done with The Boys so anything that isn’t the finale is like “get on with it already”

    3. Ehhhh. This season just has had no real sense of urgency, which is incredibly confusing when we came into it knowing it was the final season. It’s very hard to believe that they can wrap up the series in the next 2 episodes in any satisfactory way.

Feels weird to talk about fleshing out the characters and humanizing their stories when we’ve had 4 seasons to do that. This should be about wrapping up those stories.

He’s not wrong. I don’t remember people complaining about ‘filler’ in S3 when they were helping SB hunt down his crew.

People overuse ‘filler’ and ‘plot holes’ so fucking much

You guys are gonna feel real dumb when it turns out Terror fantasizing about fucking Homelander ends up being super important.

    8. Nah I’ve moved on from the show after couple of episodes of this season, and the platform it is hosted too- least used app on my TV

Very Principal Skinner of him. “Am I wrong…? No. It is the children that are wrong. “

    10. I watched the first ep of season 4 and decided to drop the show. I thought I liked it but it kinda felt like more of a chore.
