An incredibly hard watch with Robin gone now, even though I’m not religious, I still love this movie.
This movie is so weird (in a good way)
such a visually stunning movie, the colors in heaven are like nothing else. it really hits different watching it again.
Such a schmaltz fest. Like chowing down on a bag of saccharine.
This movie always freaked me out when I was a kid. Even more so now considering the plot of the movie and Robin Williams death.
The fact that everything here is practical really makes such a difference. I hate that today this would all be a green screen. Everything is so vivid, and it really pops because it feels so real. They just don’t do that any more.
One of those movies that I’m glad I watched, but I’ve never wanted to revisit it. It’s just too sad.
The movie does a really good job of demonstrating how sudden and random death can be parts of this movie as not “happy” they aren’t meant to be it is a very tough watch.
It is very underrated personally I think it is one of the best of William’s films
