I remember the theme song word for word but I have zero memory of what the show was about 😄 🤣

Ah shit mate I remember this one. Specifically the episode where a kid does a massive piss for some reason. That was some quality TV.

I loved Round the Twist, it was so fucking weird. Absolute banger theme song as well.

Not clicking that link. I refuse to get that song stuck in my head again

All I remember is someone getting buried by seagull poop

My main memory of the show is being traumatised by the fox corpse lemon tree based episode.
And the evil real estate guy was also the lobby security type guy on Lift Off which was another cursed show.

Tamsin West, who played the sister Linda, was my first “crush”. She also sang on the theme tune.

I was 9 when the first series aired. It was peak Australian TV for us kids. Everyone loved it. My grade 4 teacher let us watch episodes as rewards if we behaved ourselves. The books were like gold and crack combined. Always borrowed out at our school library and if you found one on the shelf you were a king for a week. And they were up there with Where’s Wally books as the most ordered titles in the Ashton Scholastic book club every three months.
Can’t remember most of any of it, except I still feel an urge to end sentences saying Without My Pants, I remember the spaghetti eating contest episode, and I had a huge crush on Tamsin West (the sister) for a fair chunk of 1990/91.
Never seen the third or fourth series that was made years later.

Maybe I’m misremembering but this was paired with Eerie, Indiana for an hour of weird television.

The whirling dirfish episode was burned into my little brain as a child.

Reruns of this played in Canada in the mid/late 90s on our public access channel, TVO. I feel like the only one in Canada that knows this show.

Great show…kids after school telly used to be great, Andy Peters and Ed the duck in the broom cupboard. Sounds really weird now.

Such a banger of a show. Like others, I remember very little of the actual plot. I just remember one of the kids losing their mind in an episode and eating tripe with chocolate sauce

Loved this show (the first series was the best). One big memory was of it sneaking a rude word onto children’s TV. In one episode the daughter was reading out a passage in class but was nervous and got tongue-tied. And so instead of “We kissed on the old pier”, she said “We pissed on the cold ear”
