this! talking bout checks and balances with a palace full of stolen assets and an economy built by colonialism

  3. Well, it *was* stolen so… actually there’s tons of historical & archaeological artifacts that have been and are still being stolen from India and it’s neighboring countries. These are the items that are then auctioned off at Sotheby’s and other such organizations. It’s an entire criminal network.

India, Pakistan, Iran and Afghanistan have all claimed ownership at various times. To whom would you have them return it to?

If they could also return the missing caryatid sister that Lord Elgin stole from the Acropolis, that would be great.

Among the many other pieces that were wrongfully taken

  7. Does anyone else get Matt Murdock vibes from this guy? He kinda looks like him and acts like him too.

  8. Who do you return it to? India is a modern fabrication.

And as a brown person who has visited India recently, their national museums are in *terrible* shape. No one should be giving artefacts back to India.

Who would it even be returned to? The British definitely stole it, but they’re just the last in a long line of people who have stolen it.

  10. Does anyone know if he even can give it? Do the crown jewels belong to the monarch or nation?

  11. India lost their own court case in their own country to say they had a legal right to it

    I KNOW THAT’S RIGHT ! 👏🏼

No matter where we go, Indians must ALWAYS remain salty about the KOHINOOR 😂

  13. Not trying to be rude at all just genuinely curious: is it hot there right now? Why is he drenched? We still have some snow up here in Northern MN lol.

ask him for the rosetta stone to be returned to egypt while youre at it mamdani oh and the Grecian marbles

  15. Problem with the Kohinoor is that’s it’s been stolen/taken/ransomed so many times in history by so many nations (6 claim it now) that the concept of ownership is meaningless. Sure, India had it last, but their ownership claim is no more legitimate than the UKs.

And that’s just the start, considering how broke the UK is, they’ll have to liquidate their houses, businesses and land (all of which are worth $15.97 trillion) and then pay 3 times that amount to pay India their reparations in full.
