      An old disabled grandmother in an Evil Dead movie is gonna get the worst of it.

      But between this and the teaser getting a bit worried the entire movie will be lit and desaturated like this.

      I never really understand the marketing decision to release images that look like they could be from anything. For example, Lanterns has been really, really bad about that. Nothing about this image screams “Evil Dead.” That’s not a criticism of the film or anything, just a weird decision. Show me a deadite or someone covered in blood

      As a cinematographer, words cannot express how much I hate this type of cinematography.

      The series should’ve ended after Ash vs Evil Dead which was a perfect sendoff. I do not understand the point of these generic, grimdark entries that feel absolutely nothing like the fun original trilogy. It’s just another generic gory horror franchise with generic horror actors now. Just let it die already.

      I feel bad for these guys, I do not think I’d want to take on the deadites in a world where Bruce Campbell has retired.

      Lovely. A super dark picture with several vague humanoid shapes. Exactly what I wantexld to get hyped up about a movoe.

      Rise was cool, I dug it. I’m okay with the anthology format as long as they continue to deliver the goods in classic Raimi-esque fashion.

      Idk for me the lighting is good in this promo, definitely sets the tone for the movie. Grandma with the steel leg too, wonder if she becomes a deadite she would club people with it?
