  1. Absolute fever dream of a movie. Dan Aykroyd basically got a blank check to make his passion project and delivered an insane mess, almost like a combination of National Lampoons Vacation and The Texas Chainsaw Massacre.

  2. Between these two and the old dude taking off his nose, that shit messed me up as a kid. The shit my dad let me watch as a kid and the shows I let me kids watch are very different lol.

That movie was rough… and I like bad movies. Every Chevy Chase line dropped like a lead balloon. The plot and acting and everything were bad in a way that made you feel bad for the people behind the scenes.

  4. And let’s not forget the part with Digital Underground performing to get out of whatever kind of trouble they were in.

I love this movie. I watched it as a kid and loved it. I rewatched it as an adult, and also love it.

It may be an unpopular opinion. But it’s mine.

I mean, it was Tupac’s acting debut!

  6. Wow. I thought I knew a lot of movies, but I have never heard of this one. It looks ridiculously bad.

  7. So as a kid in the 80’s no one cared what us kids watched. My partner and I who loved watching this movie as kids got this movie to show our kids. Ages mid teens through 20’s.

They asked us what the fuck they just watched.

My partner and I had nostalgia and also wondered how the fuck we were allowed to watch it growing up.

And Dicknose may actually be childhood trauma.

  8. I saw this in the theater and I hated it so much – I mean loathed. Apparently I’m an outlier though.

This movie was so fucking wild and it used to come on ShowTime or HBO a ton and it was always a watch for me!

Loved this movie as a kid. My uncle and I used to watch this every time it came on tv!

  11. I’ve been trying to think of the name of this movie forever. Weirded me out as a kid. And I used to watch everything. Shit was creepy as hell.

i was kind of hypnotized by this movie when i first encountered it on tv.  i was too young for that shit.

  13. No sarcasm–thank you for posting this!

For thirty years, I had this line in my head and couldn’t quite remember what it was from. I kinda thought it was these dudes from Nothing But Trouble, but I was never in the mood to rewatch it to confirm.

    “No, that’s not good.”

It’s one of those lines that’s been absorbed into my vernacular.

My sibling and I loved this movie. I still quote this among friends. Taylor Negron kills me every time.
