Phillip Seymour Hoffman (Owen Davian) and Tom Cruise (Ethan Hunt) were excellent together. Ethan going through a range of confusion, fear, bargaining, anger, then pleading for mercy. The entire scene is captivating to watch as Ethan come to terms with his situation. Itโs the first time we as the audience understand heโs truly helpless. No tricks up his sleeve and no reinforcements on the way we see Ethan completely defeated.
Phillip gave a masterful performance as a villain in this movie.I feel like this a very unique approach for a spy film and hope some more people will watch it.

Thats the ending of the movie…
The “real” opening of the scene is even better (the assault in Berlin). One of the best opening action sequences ever IMO.
One of the *greatest villains.
Only mentioning because he steals this entire scene/film
psh fr came into this franchise and gave the best performance in its entirety
I saw this at the cinema and it this scene was so good because it really drew you in! PSH man! Loved him in this!
The bridge attack scene is so underrated.
