After years of being annoyed at streaming services and not knowing which to use I finally compromised and now don’t subscribe to any whatsoever.

  2. For context – I’ve seen Lost somewhere between 5 and 7 times in its entirety. I love Lost.

I tried From, and somewhat enjoyed the first season, but didn’t feel compelled to continue. The mystery felt less organic. For lack of a better word, it feels much more contrived to me than Lost’s did, and the characters much less interesting than Lost’s cast.

Am I missing out? Is it worth continuing?

  3. It’s similar to watch that has the same “nobody talks to each other” problem. But I still enjoy it

    Season 1 was great

    Season 2 was good

    Season 3 was ….ok

    S4 premiere was boring imo

But I am happy that they have a definitive end date with season 5

It’s a good show. I like it a lot. But due to the links with Lost, and a very similar mystery, I’m petrified I’m going to get screwed again. Every bone in my body is screaming, this is lost season 4, they’ve built an incredible mystery and they don’t know how the fuck to explain it. I’m just waiting for the they’re all dead rug pull.

  6. I don’t know what if this post is corelation or causation, but the show just showed up on my `Seerr` trending shows list

  7. I have been evangelizing this show since the first season. It fucking rules and everyone should be watching it

  8. If you want a show where the writers fling BS on a walll to see what sticks just so they could waste your time long enough to get another season, then you will love this.

  9. Oh yeah? Maybe I’ll check it out, let me fire up… “MGM+” ?? wtf is that

    Never mind

I just started watching the second season and I fucking love it and hate it. Can’t stop watching

  11. It’s an OK show imo. Has a lot of wheelspinning and “Omg you guys, please forget about the supernatural threat and ordeal we’re caught in the middle of, there is interpersonal drama to be had and milked for runtime!”.

The acting from some characters, in particular the “main family” is a hint uh questionable.

I honestly still appriciate it for what it is even if I am slightly worried no resolution will be satisfying especially with how many questions the show actually piled up.

  12. I mean they both feature Harold Perrineau, if that’s what you mean by “successor”

  13. Don’t forget about the fact that nothing from the new season is available yet for me (Netherlands), so u must pirate it anyway

  14. I fast-forwarded through the second season. It’s that good.

If you’re into absolute cock-tease tv, then yeah go for it.
