Probably the greatest use of Wagner in a movie (apart from Apocalypse Now).

One if my favorite movies and it’s very evocative on multiple levels (for example, how very fragile Earth and its inhabitants are in the grand scheme of things plus the loss of so very much if such a collision were to occur). As a movie about depression it’s understandably not a happy movie, but it does make you want to hold onto what you so often take for granted.
