    It’s wild that this is still an issue in 2026.

    I traveled with a leg injury a few years ago and got a good lesson on accessible travel. Everyone should have to experience that (just maybe without the crutches). 

  2. I totally sympathize with her, the situation wasn’t fair at all. I kind of suspect that her manager, or whoever was in charge of booking didn’t actually reach out to confirm that they could accommodate her though.

    The article mentions that all of the airlines planes are small aircrafts that have stairs and carry less than 28 passengers. These are much smaller planes than most people will ever need to take. They likely physically can not do much to accommodate as they don’t have a ramp and may not have a secure space to keep her chair safe onboard. 🙁

    Someone had to have messed up pretty badly for her to even be booked with them. It’s like booking an accessible taxi and showing up to find a moped instead.
