This was Neon’s big Sundance acquisition so I’m hyped. Apparently it’s genuinely terrifying and it was a hot ticket back in the fests.
(Also it’s crazy Mia Wasikowska plays mom roles now lol)
If this is a decent way to put it, this could be like the LGBTQ It Follows
Joe Bird was pretty great in Talk to Me so really looking forward to this one.
Now Ive seen it all, a queerbaiting demon
Of all the indie horror movies coming out this summer, this probably looks the least interesting of the bunch.

The start of the possession drawing parallels to conversion therapy is a really creepy/creative choice. Overall, this looks really cool.
