We knew this over a month ago! Y’know? When they found her body in his car?

    What took so long?

  2. Fully expecting this to help his career more than harm it, sadly.

If he ever gets out (knock on wood).

i’m so happy to see some progress with this case. celeste is only a couple years younger than me and i think about her often. hoping she and the people who loved her see some justice here. descansa en paz hermanita 🩷

  4. Sometimes the wheels of justice turn slowly, but it’s good to see they are actually moving forward in this disturbing case.

I hope this brings her family peace and that whatever evidence was used for the formal charging is rock solid when it’s evaluated in court.

You know we live in a sick country when we have to hold our breaths on evil people getting locked away just because they’re rich.

  7. D4vd is one dumbass fucking criminal. This case should be a slam dunk for the DA

  8. Celeste, I wish you weren’t gone. We all are rooting for you and hopefully you are now smiling wherever you are. Love you.

Obligatory note: it’s still totally possible the LAPD could mess this up. But a lot of the evidence people talk about and bring up around why this took so long when we’ve known forever would probably be considered circumstantial in court, and a good defense lawyer could easily spin that into reasonable doubt for a jury.

The condition of the body also made it really hard to pin down when and how she died, which is a huge deal for a case like this. On top of that, she’d been missing for a while, so investigators would need time to track down witnesses and piece everything together properly.

Without a clear time of death, the defense could argue he was on tour when it happened, and that other people had access to his house and stuff. And yeah, people bring up things like lyrics or music videos, but realistically that kind of stuff probably wouldn’t hold much weight in court.

Now we know why it took so long. His days are numbered, as they should be.
