That is why I don’t want to be online.”

      My dad hated Taylor Swift. I didn’t care either way. He passed away last year. I carry his torch for him. Shut up Taylor Swift, you stink!

      He also hates Beyoncé. I think he just likes to be a contrarian. Like who you like, dislike who you don’t. No need to announce it.

      Not liking and hating are really two different things.

      I’m not a fan of her, but I don’t hate her music. It’s just not my thing. I do think her music is better than most modern mainstream music, and she certainly has talent. I feel the same about most mainstream popular artists nowadays as well. I don’t think I actually hate any of them though.

      Rabid fans are never to be trusted for opinion regarding their chosen obsessions.

      I wouldn’t ask a feral cats opinion on a chicken drumstick it was tearing into.  I won’t ask an obsessive fan their opinion of their chosen obsession.

      And that’s about as far as this thought process needs to go.  The rest is rage bait, engagement bait, and constructed drama.

      I’m sure she’s a lovely person, but her music sucks ass now, especially this “Showgirl” album, so he’s not wrong.
