Synopsis:

Loved seeing the movie in theaters earlier this year, and was pleasantly surprised by the Jay and Silent Bob cameo. How did that come together? Was it something you had written from the beginning, or did the opportunity to work with Kevin open up as you were working on the movie?
Hello! I’m a giant fan of the film, how much improvisation took place and where there any moments that were memorable that haven’t been shared with the masses.

I was curious how the original pitch meeting went with the studio and how on-board they were with the whole concept. Was there any hesitation on their part green lighting the movie? Did you have to cut anything out that was originally supposed to be included?
I’m excited that the movie is available digitally as I couldn’t make to the theater.

Do you think ensemble comedy movies like this, made today, will ever be as big as some of the comedies of the 80s or 90s, or is the balkanization of media consumption so severe that a film like Napa Boys will only have a niche success?
