I’m just so glad Brendan Fraser is back to doing movies regularly now

I’m not against great movies but I feel like WW2 flicks were big in the late 90’s and early 2000’s (Saving Private Ryan, Pearl Harbor, Flags of Our Fathers) and now we’ve moved on — why no movies about Afghanistan or the Iraq War?

I wonder if it’ll cover the actual landing on the beaches. It feels like it’ll be damn near impossible to top the intensity of the opening scene of Saving Private Ryan.

Wild how a weather forecast basically decided the fate of history…. insane pressure to get that call right.

this looks intense! brendan fraser in a role like this is gonna be wild, can’t wait to see how they handle such a crucial part of D-Day history.

Ah yes one of the most compelling and unforgettable stories of World War II – investigating the weather

This is a movie about the human condition, peer pressure, and resolve using WW2 as the canvas. It’s the same narrative arc as the Moon landing, motor racing, and any other high risk endeavour. I think this is why this trailer is compelling because of the stakes and study in the humans in the room.

So, this trailer is basically the entire movie.

I saw the trailer before PHM and thought it looked horrible I can’t lie

Damien Lewis is now D-Day Lewis.

It should end like “Inception” did, with the screen going black right when we’re about to find out if D-Day actually happened or not. That would be a twist that nobody saw coming.
