  1. > In video and photos shared on social media, the celebrity TV chef was seen embracing the brothers at UFC 327 at Kaseya Center in Miami, Florida, on Saturday, April 11 (a fight also attended by President Donald Trump). In one video clip posted by BroBible sports editor Jorge Alonso, Fieri is seen shaking hands with Andrew Tate and bumping shoulders as they greet each other.

    > Fieri said in a post on X Tuesday, wrote: “I’m seeing all of your comments about the photo from Saturday’s UFC event and all I can say is that I’m devastated. I was there to see the fights and when I was walking through the venue, the Tate brothers stood up and said hello and that’s when the exchanged happened. I did not know them or about them before that moment.”

    > Fieri added: “I’ll never pretend to be a perfect person but let me be crystal clear, I do not know the Tate brothers nor do I support them in any way.”

I’m starting to think there’s lots of people with shitty qualities they need to work on

Saw the video. Didn’t look like anything special. Probably thought he was a fan or something. Seems like a huge overreaction.

In his defense, if you go to a UFC event you’re probably going to have to shake hands with a rapist. That’s just a given.

This is such an overreaction to a tepid event that you have to wonder if its bot-driven

Like, yeah, dude shook the hands of some dipshit in public. That doesn’t make him a dipshit.

Look. The Mayor of Flavortown is a popular fellow. It is plausible to believe thing 1 and thing 2 are just star fuckers and want their picture taken with as many celebrities as possible so they can have the best decorated prison cells on the block.

I could believe Guy is oblivious enough or not at all interested the world of news to know who these two asshats are. Not everyone pays attention to this to the same degree we all do.

I don’t know if any of you have lived in the south but I’ve said hello and shook hands with complete strangers a plethora of times. It’s not that uncommon for some people to just be friendly. He very well might not have had any fucking clue who they are. He’s famous. A lot of people want to take pictures and say hello to him.

Just cannot take him seriously here. It’s a ufc event. Just any level of looking into the direction the ufc has taken would quickly put the ufc and trump together. And, he has to know how he’s viewed. Just feels like he went “nobody will care, trust Me” well, people care Guy. Surprise. He’s never really struck me as a good person. Only one that cares about things that affect him.

I’d be more concerned about this if Guy Fieri had the slightest bit of social relevance left.

  10. ehhh i’ll give him the benefit of the doubt. dudes probably in his 60s by now, i doubt he’s in the know on the tate brothers.

  11. The guy spends 13 seconds saying hello to someone and that’s a crime. Get a life people! It looked like he didn’t even know them.

Guy Fieri seems like a pretty good guy and definitely pro-LGBT. My guess is he’s telling the truth and just stopped for a picture with who he figured were fans. It happens.

I’ll give him the benefit of the doubt since people probably come up to him all the time

Guy Fieri has had quite a few allegations and straight f*ck-ups throughout the years that it makes this just seem like another cover for bad behavior and bad friends. There’s been allegations of sexual harassment, many instances of tossing about homophobic slurs, and some tantrums about poor restaurant reviews.
