  1. *Cliff Booth* in theaters with a wide release, please. Beyond providing proof to Warner (should Paramount fail) that you’re serious, it’s been too damn long since a David Fincher picture graced the silver screen. *Ray Gunn* with Paramount would be amazing, too, but I’ll understand if you wanna take it one film at a time. Either way, please commit. They need you.

  2. I hope Netflix can steal Pamela Abdy and Michael De Luca away from WB rather than have their talent wasted under Paramount, so that Netflix get the talent they need to start making more consistently good movies instead of having a ton of garbage with the occasional gem.

I think Netflix seeing how much money Warner made in theaters last year (combined with KPop Demon Hunters) has convinced them that they can make a lot of money and that streaming-first releases aren’t necessary to protect their brand

I feel like all the entertainment behemoths with big streamers are reaching the same conclusion: there needs to be a more limited release for a premium to foot the bill before it gets to streaming.

  5. It only helps Netflix to have another revenue / output stream for some of their releases. And it helps theater chains. Everyone should lean in.
