I love stand up and the concept is cool but anytime I’ve caught Byron Allen’s shows, it’s third rate comics and they’re all hacky. Just my opinion.

The nets are hoping that terrestrial tv remains relevant for a while longer. Twenty years ago the idea that there would be an alternative to the broadcasters was unthinkable. They thought they were untouchable.
I’ll bet they’d love to be out of it if they could find a buyer, but nobody wants terrestrial tv just now.
Who knows ? Maybe a new tech will emerge and make the channels (as) valuable again.
