Want to see this, but original opening was only 495 theaters and the nearest was not near me. Maybe it will expand if I’m lucky.
Shinjuku station simulator
I quite enjoyed this movie. I wasn’t expecting there to be an overall theme to the movie, so that was a nice surprise. The game was pretty simple so my expectations were fairly low lol.
pretty great adaptation of the game and visually this was great. not super scary though, and if you are one of the people who gets annoyed when horror characters are being stupid i would NOT recommend this. probably the most frustrating character behavior i’ve seen tbh 😂 usually not an issue for me but it really hindered the experience on this one
Insinuating sex
Enjoyed it, but felt like an adaptation of the game would’ve suited a short film with less of a story, and more just the existential dread of having to find the differences.
The did well considering the source material though
Enjoyed it overall, the certain aspects of plot were a bit undercooked, and I was a bit annoyed with some scenes. However love the concept, well shot, well acted, the transitions were great.
Read that it was based on a game, and instantly called the kinda game it was when the credits rolled.
Main character has the WORST case of asthma I have ever seen in film. Dude was hitting that inhaler every 5 min.
