Jude Law sounding like Jude Law, with his London accent, is really breaking the illusion for me. I would rather a whole bunch of bad Russian accents than a bunch of good British ones.
So why did no one in this movie go to a vocal coach? This is terrible
Why are people complaining about the accent? It worked for the Death of Stalin as well as Chernobyl.
I think it might be because most of us are familiar with Putin, while not so familiar with most of the characters in the other movies/shows.
It looks like Martin Freeman playing Jude Law playing Putin………
They really should have given the Putin role to Daniel Craig.
Why was this movie even being made? Fuck Putin.
I have no interest in watching a dramatized film about a man who right at this moment is inflicting untold suffering on people, including his own. 960 Russian casualties, TODAY ALONE! Poor timing in my opinion.
