In Weapons (2025) there appears to be a Rashomon effect that goes on in the film that is intentional(spoilers in comments)

As we know in the film the story is told by a kid I believe she may have interviewed the people connected to the characters this is where the Rashomon effect happened The story told in perspectives from different characters but when we see the same scene from another person perspective ( for example Paul and James talking after paul knocked out James Paul perspective shows him being calm and nice however James perspective shows him being mean and threatening he even tells James to fuck off after pulling him up) it’s different now if you watch it again you will see the rashomon effect happening
