As someone who saw maybe 15 or 20 episodes of the original show, I would give that a B+. I laughed, quite a lot, which is more than many modern shows and movies manage these days. The cringe was surprisingly minimal. I think the Variety and TVLine reviews were too harsh. The Guardian review is more glowing than I’d be, but it was a very enjoyable 2 hours.
I watched it. It felt just like a continuation in the same spirit. Kind of wish there was more.
I just finished it, and enjoyed it immensely. Some Zygote who definitely never watched the original wrote the review for Variety and it was not kind.

What other comedy series could return?
I honestly consider this show a genuine miracle. Not using hyperbole like that article. I’m talking it’s a literal miracle. I think something from… (looks up reverently)… above, had a hand, in it being green-lit. I ain’t a man of faith neither I dont usually talk like this but when I saw the episode I noticed there was
