Next big? I don’t know about that. I guess the quality of the animation will determine that. The manga is great mostly for its artwork. Kamome Shirahama draws like if Arthur Adams went full manga style (he stopped halfway there). Every panel is packed with little details.
The story is fun enough but it’s a fairly typical coming of age young magician’s tale.
Wish this show got the DanDaDan treatment where new episodes dropped on both Crunchyroll and Netflix. Looks like its time to sail the high seas for now.

Really impressed with the first two episodes!!
I read the manga and I would say wait a few episodes before judging it. The art is gorgeous but there are parts to the story that are really good a bit later. And dark. Am going to wait for a few more episodes to be released before watching it.
