So, this show is going beyond the book?

I haven’t read Recursion, so can anyone help me understand if it is in any way related to?

    2. The author has another book (not the same series), Recursion.

Reread both multiple times. Recursion is better overall IMO.

What I’m saying is, if you liked Dark Matter, grab the book/audiobook for Recursion.

    3. I enjoyed the book but got bored with the show after a couple episodes. Most of the characters seem miscast except Jimmie Simpson.

I’m definitely going to need a youtube season one recap before I watch season 2.

    5. Man, this has me nervous.

      It could be fantastic.

Or it could be a disaster trying to extend a great book/series beyond its natural conclusion.

But the proverbial side of the road is littered with similar failed attempts (The Matrix comes to mind) at building on popular SciFi projects ultimately serving only to tarnish the original’s legacy.

I’ll give it a fair chance but this is a risky move to be sure.

    6. If I enjoyed the 2015-2017 SyFy series Dark Matter, will I enjoy this? (I literally thought this was what the post about. I was thinking, “Wow that’s a long break between seasons. Wait, it *had* more than one season…?”)

I’m amazed Tim Cook can sign off on projects like this with Trump’s cock in his mouth. Truly an inspiring CEO. What a genius businessman.

      Finally. Jesus it’s been forever.

Curious how it’ll go. Loved the first season

If I read the book but didn’t watch season 1, can I just start with season 2? I tried and could not get into it for some reason even though it’s one of my favorite books.
