Give them a year and it’ll be time to reboot Stranger Things.

Pendragon, Children of the Red King, and Fablehaven are good young adult series that I think are due for an adaption.
Maybe someone could actually try to adapt Artemis Fowl as well!
Darknightsmetal022 on
They’ve been searching for them for years as they’ve tried a ton of times from The Gray Man to Red Notice and that’s just naming 2 things.
The thing is these things get quite a lot of views from what I remember but then they are never seen from or heard of again all be that could be to do with the negative reception of them but if they got a ton of views it’s odd that’s the reason they are never seen again as when has that ever stopped a studio from making a sequel to something that’s got a ton of money?
Snizzysnootz on
They should copy Prime and start doing video game franchises

I’d say they have a golden ticket with their Forgotten Realms show they’re trying to build… but I have zero confidence they’ll be able to produce anything other than the slop that every fantasy setting gets churned into nowadays.

They should finish Wheel of Time. They can be the Brandon Sanderson of streaming services.

I’m surprised no one has made a show of Suzanne Collins’ other book series, The Underland Chronicles. It’s definitely for kids younger than the demo for Hunger Games, which I think makes them a great alternative to Potter. I read them as an adult, probably 10ish years ago at this point, and I remember really enjoying them.

They gonna cancel most of their good stuff anyway or enshitificate it from season two like Altered Carbon.
Why dont they offer a option for a single account with 4k. Like, i can’t share as a single, but you want me to get four profiles just for uhd? Are you stupid?
I dont have a single of these overpriced and under delivering streaming accounts anymore.

Rereading the Codex Alera series for like.. the fourth time lol. I think it would be a great option for live action. Magic, betrayal, politicking, romance, existential threats, it’d be pretty great!
Although considering Netflix’s track record with cancelling series early, I’m not sure I’d want them to do it lol.

Literally all they have to do is follow through on series that generate any form of interest. Restrict them to one season a year or at least every 18 months and they’ll be fine.
A lot of people are too gun shy to start anything new knowing it can just get shot out of the regardless of interest

Netflix have been awful at merchandising. They’ve tried with Str ager Things, but it’s just not culturally relevant enough to have merch sales that will keeps selling in the long term.
They need to either buy or create franchises that actually will be able to sustain merch sales. For some strange reason they don’t seem to try to even create shows that they can leverage merch sales off. They just make mostly trash shows, with a handful of good shows. It’s like they don’t have the ability to think long term.
