  1. >It’s so over. She is not coming back. I would do the same if I had to sing ”eat zuchinni” and ”shaking ass in the parking lot”.

  2. This is so messy. She’s also not present in the teaser for their new single. Atp they’re just using her to drum up attention for their comeback. It’s so over

  3. Manon shares a new statement to weverse dms:

“Thank you so much for all the love and support you’ve been sending my way. I’m really grateful for the patience and kindness everyone has shown during this time. HxG and I are having positive conversations and I feel supported. I’m happy and I’m healthy. I’ll share more soon. Thank you for always being there for me.”

  4. and so their fifth harmony fate was sealed… guarantee katseye will disband within the next year. they had so much potential, what an absolute clusterfuck…

This seems like a good move. Speaking as a non KATSEYE fan, I genuinely couldn’t tell you anything about the group. I’ve seen people dancing to that song “Gnarly”, but that’s absolutely it. It does not seem like a good song at all, despite the members and the dance seeming cool.

I have, however, heard of Manon and Lara Raj. It says a lot about a group when its individual members and choreographers are more famous than the band itself. It seems like a lot of really good and talented individual moving parts that are being rammed together into a corporate, soulless group. The contributing artists deserve better than whatever bs they’re being forced to do in that group.

My most logical guess on what has happened but we won’t know for a while is that Manon and half of the group didn’t get along. Manon was always the one missing a lot of the groups activities but I believe Megan also missed a fair amount however whatever it was between them it must’ve gotten bad at the beginning of this year. I believe them at the Grammys this year was the final straw because it must’ve awaken most of them then that they are becoming a laughing stock for their lyrics that the label keeps writing for them. Not too long after Manon does the short film that must’ve pissed off the label and I think right there and then she quit the group. From what I’ve seen this must’ve pissed Daniella off the most because of the group’s festival lineups this summer from the way her father acts. Because of that timing, the label must’ve used the sick excuse but everyone with a brain realized that it was cope and now today any of their fans realized Manon is leaving. The group will most likely release an album later this year, if it does well the group will stick together and one of them will begin to shade Manon. If album flops Katseye takes a hiatus next year and never comes back.

I was a kpop fan long before they made these international groups. I saw the writing on the wall before any of them debuted. The thing is kpop companies will never change, their management style and their way of serving their idols to the dogs and how kpop fans can be…always. I immediately knew that Manon and others would definitely feel the burn of this. Vcha also had a similar outcome.

If she’s going out on her own, good for her. If this is a negotiation tactic, also good for her.

Tbh I was never buying what they were selling. It always seems disingenuous and without heart

  10. Is there annnnny girl band group that has stuck it out? In my head I’m seeing the breakups of Spice Girls, Fifth Harmony, Little Mix, Destiny’s Child, TLC, Pussycat Dolls, No Doubt (Gwen led at least), and I can’t even think of the rest.

Obviously ik in band fighting happens across all genders but majority of my music saved are from female artists or groups.

My mind is just wandering and wondering (=

All that potential and they couldn’t give KATSEYE a good song to perform.

This is by no means saying anything negative about Manon but, why did she want to be in Katseye to begin with? Seems like everything about being in this group has been against her will, like she’s being held hostage or something.

Meh. Their only like-able song was Gabriela. And besides their rather impressive performances the brainrot songs they did would’ve gotten them nowhere honestly…

Eh, she should just be honest about wanting to bounce and move on. I don’t blame her, K-pop/girl group pop is a difficult and weird industry and it’s got to be a real mindfuck to try to work in it.

Sights. They had so much potential and I was genuinely rooting for them.

  16. I mean the rabid Stans have gotten them all 6+ million followers. They might as well stop putting out flop singles and just transition to full time influencers

  17. Manon is really great, but IMO this is unlikely to impact significantly on KATSEYE’s success. KATSEYE are still very new as a group, and the general public don’t really know each individual member all that well. It’s very different to the time One Direction broke up for example – where there were only 4 members and a crazy large and loyal fanbase and everyone knows each members names and their favourite restaurants etc.

I am fairly new to listening to KATSEYE’s music (literally 2 weeks) and I was blown away by the Gabriela performance video. I didn’t even notice until rewatching it later that Manon wasn’t in it. They still perform outstandingly well as a 5 and I hope they continue.

  18. Bro what the fuck am I supposed to do with my $45 internet girl baby tee lmao I don’t feel right wearing it and if she’s leaving… well WTF
