Until *very* recently I didn’t know this was an actual hit song. I thought it was some stock inspirational-sounding music akin to “Sweet Victory” from SpongeBob.
I was baffled when it came up in some “One hit wonders of the 80s” video I watched with my wife and she was shocked when I shared this revelation.

The synchronized dancing transition into total chaos perfectly captures the peak absurdist energy of the Lonely Island era. It remains one of the most impressively committed bits in modern comedy history.
