I think that the Tai Lung escape scene in Kung Fu Panda is one of, if not, the greatest action sequence put to screen. It covers all the requirements…tension, skill, speed, stakes, framing, cinematography, storytelling, sound design, momentum and the rest. What are your challengers for this?

omg yes that scene is literally perfect!! the way they build up tai lung as this legendary threat and then actually show us why everyone’s terrified of him.. chef’s kiss.

You should check out the Movies that led to this point in Martial Arts and Kung fu movies especially anything out of Hong Kong in the 70s and after. If you think that’s good they will blow your mind lol.
