I don’t know how unpopular this is, but I’m relieved Billie Eilish is firmly considered an adult now, because I used to know classmates that pushed her as some “child” music prodigy. As someone who was neutral on her but thought her music was mediocre and didn’t show any skill at all, I’m so glad I no longer have to hear about her “genius.”
Nothing against her music and am glad she gets to make the kinda music she wants, but it just ain’t that great alright? It’s no different than anything else right now.
