One of my most anticipated movies of the year
I would watch the shit outta this. Sounds cool.
Sweet another horror movie about a character grieving and confronting the dark corners of their past. Not enough of those these days.
Something about the word ‘hokum’ being used for what looks like a serious folk horror film feels deliberately ironic. Like they’re setting expectations that it’s campy or silly, and then delivering something much darker. I’m intrigued.
