They struck a deal with Spacey to reduce his liability from $31M to $1M so he would turn over evidence for a $29M insurance claim? Sounds like a lose-lose.

Yeah this was never really gonna work. it was basically trying to rewrite the exact context of his firing in a way that worked better on paper for insurance. but you can’t just go “look yes we fired him because hes a sex pest, but he was actually fired because he had to go not seek medical treatment for being a sex pest.”
