Question for Steve Zahn, what was it like working on Saving Silverman?? It’s one of my all time favorite comedies and I’ve been a fan of yours ever since

  2. Question for Zahn,
How did you research for your role as Monty the Alley Cat in Stuart Little?

Hi Steve! I’ve loved your work since I was a kid watching Daddy Day Care. Seeing Sahara in the theater with your comedic relief was a formative experience for me and I’m always down to check a project out with you in it. You truly have so many great roles.

My question for you is, what was it like filming with the McBride crew on Righteous Gemstones? That’s my favorite season of that show and no small part in due to your character. You brought a lot of pathos to something that could have come across as one-note.

Thank you and can’t wait to check out the new one!

How are the nerves for you guys, first feature length movie direction for Rick, first writing credit on a movie for Steve, feature film starring debut for Audrey?

Big fan, love the Wynn Everett Chad powers connection with Steve ( any sneaky update on season 2 Steve? ), and huge fan of justified, you were great in it Rick, looking forward to the movie, hope it makes it over to ireland!

  5. Hey Steve, do you have the song “That thing you do” stuck in your head?

Joking aside I just wanted to express my great appreciation for that early film of yours, and thought you had a standout performance.

  6. Not a question but I want to say that Steve, you are literally the best thing about every single movie you’ve ever been in. Famously in my family if we know you’re in something we watch it. That’s crazy. What a career! Thanks for all the great work!

To Rick – you’re my favorite actor in Band of Brothers (which is saying something!) and I’ve kept up with your work since and you’re awesome!

    Sorry I don’t have a question!

  7. Question for Steve: What’s: a) your favorite bar in New Orleans and; b) the best Po Boy in New Orleans?

  8. Steve, I’ve been a huge fan since National Security and I’ve used variations of, “Man is Sandecker gonna be pissed when you tell him you lost his satellite phone…” for twenty years.

My question is, what was the movie you saw growing up that made you realize you wanted to be an actor?

Taking on some of these roles, comedic or dramatic, can be mentally taxing. What do you guys do to relax or reset?

Rick Gomez! What was your favorite memory/experience while filming band of brothers?

  11. Not a question for Steve, but dude you’re having a wildly awesome last few years and every time you pop up in a project you crush. Keep up the great work!

Question for Rick: Would you ever consider returning to do more gaming VA’s again? Your role as Zack was fantastic. The gaming world needs more VA’s that actually put in effort like yourself.

  13. Hey Steve, I’ve always like you since seeing Daddy Day Care as a kid. Was that your dick in White Lotus?

Rick, any particularly memorable experiences meeting the vets of Easy Company while filming Band of Brothers? Any lessons they taught you that you could pass on?

The father-daughter relationship is the emotional core of “She Dances”. As a dad, I’m curious what was the original spark for deciding to tell a story centered on that dynamic, and how did directing a real father and daughter shape how it came to life on screen?

Appreciate everything the Zahn family has done and continues to do for the arts here in Kentucky.

  16. Rick, did you ever visited Oklahoma on broadway after you were done with filming band of brothers? 😜

  17. If presented with a sandwich where there’s a heel on one end and a clean cut at the other end.
    Where do you bite first?

Heel end, cut end, middle section, other?

Also, do you continue down from where you began, or alternate in a fixed pattern?

  18. Hi Steve, I loved you in Joy Ride and The Perfect Getaway and Joy Ride is one of my favorite scary movies, what do you enjoy most about about working in the horror genre? Also, Audrey, Rick, and Steve, what are your favorite scary movies?

Hey Steve! Both of my daughter’s are born in Marshall, MN as well 🙂

    P.S. Reality Bites rocks!

What do you think happened to your son Quinn after he decided to stay in Hawaii after the White Lotus finale?

    Question for Rick:

What was shooting the Clerks TV pilot like? I know you played the ice cream shop employee who was made to give Dante and Randall another friend, but ultimately he was just a clone of Randall. Fun little piece of View Askew history now that it has been online a while

Also my brother is a big fan of Justified and pointed you out as “the original Zack Fair”, now our mom thinks that’s your actual name. Sorry!

  21. Steve: it’s not a Reddit AMA with you if I don’t ask about *Diary of a Wimpy Kid* – the movie’s taken on a life of its own with people my age and I personally feel it’s a real highlight of literary adaptations, very faithful to the book. What’s your take on it and your performance looking back? Thanks, and incidentally, I loved *Valley of the Boom*!

  22. Question for Steve Zahn. What do you think about Joy Ride (2001) and how did you enjoy working with Paul Walker and LeeLee Sobieski? It’s one of my fav films and you were a standout as Fuller in the movie.

  23. Ship_Negative on

Hi Steve! Huge fan. My favorite movie of yours is *Riding in Cars With Boys*, was that a challenging role for you? How did you prepare for it?

  24. Hey everyone! Thanks for doing this.

Question for Rick – when working on the script, did you always want a real life father and daughter to star in the film, or was this decided upon meeting Steve & Audrey?

  25. Inevitable_Phase_276 on

    For Steve-
I’ve been watching you for decades and love seeing you (and Ethan Hawke) getting some long due recognition lately! I hope this lands up bringing Reality Bites to a new audience as well-as long as nobody tries to remake it.

Have you been friends or stayed in touch since then with anyone other than Ethan Hawke from Reality Bites?

  26. HTMLRulezd00d1 on

Hey Steve! You were a major part of my upbringing with Saving Silverman, Joy Ride, and many others. Also loved you in Righteous Gemstones!

I feel like Joy Ride is severely underrated in the thriller genre and your comedic timing is awesome. Funniest part is your delivery in the car yelling “we have a gun!” Lol.

Do you have any fun stories or also wish that it was brought up more in the pantheon of thriller/horrors?

  27. salsalunchbox on

Steve, you obviously have a huge talent for comedic roles (That Thing You Do is a household staple), but I was impressed by your portrayal of an addict in Riding In Cars With Boys. How difficult is it to switch between loveable and funny to emotionally damaged and hitting rock bottom? Are dramatic roles something you wish you did more of? How different is the preparation from comedy to tragedy?

    Thanks!

  28. Steve!

Will we ever get Strange Wilderness 2? I need to see the search for the Loch Ness Monster.
