Good… The only Sora I want to see from Disney is the guy from Kingdom Hearts.

I assume it was costing them too much money for all the stupid videos people loved making. Myself included.

  3. Maybe the first sign that OpenAI is not doing as well as they make investors believe. Hopefully this is the beginning of the end.

Sounds like someone underestimated how much furry porn the internet would make.

    PLEASE Oh baby, don’t go”

    – Disney, after hearing they won’t have access to Sora

  6. This doesn’t tell me that Hollywood is backing out of AI, and more that betting on OpenAI specifically was the worst way to go. From my understanding Google and ByteDance have been the two that are more prominent with video (which seems a given since they both have large video platforms).

  7. Turns out it’s not profitable to pay to burn all that electricity for something you give away for free. Who knew…

  8. Well, Disney must be breathing a sigh of relief then that users can no longer generate videos of how Max was conceived. A HYUK!

Woo hoo! They need agreements and subscriptions to keep the lights on. Let’s turn em off
