I love Donald O’Connor so much in this movie.
You got to give props to Debbie Reynolds; while she was an excellent singer, she was not a dancer and she was working her ass off to keep up with Kelly and O’Connor.
I haven’t seen this classic since I was a kid lol. But now whenever I hear it I can only think of Stewie:
“Nothins grander than a time in Louisiana” kills me every time hahaha

My high school used to play this over televised announcements every single morning. It’s a great song but every morning got so tiresome.
This blows my mind every time I see it. The choreography and athleticism is tremendous. The way they are so in sync and so light on their feet….it’s unreal!
