Whether it was announced or not, I think there was a reasonable assumption this was a one-and-done miniseries. I have to imagine the extremely positive critical response to the show was a big part in this.
And rightly so, season one was *excellent*. Two fantastic leads with great chemistry, and visually it was easily the best shot Marvel project…maybe ever?

Love that. This show was such a breath of fresh air. This and Andor show that any story can be set in a shared universe, and specificity, intention, and artistry matter. Slop eventually only attracts pigs.
