Mary J. Blige on a harsh first meet with an idol of hers: “I ain’t saying no names. That was f*cked up because I was excited to meet this person, somebody I absolutely loved so much. It was very petty. I was crushed. […] but I ain’t saying no names.”

Ugh I wish celebrities would just name names when telling a story! Even in real life, when friends don’t tell you who they’re talking about drives me up the wall.

  2. This interviewer is severely underreacting lol. That’s such an awful story! It’s like he didn’t even hear her.

Drop a name or don’t drop the anecdote Mary J.

Chakka Kahn. She’s said this in an interview about Mary messing up her song and singing it off key .🤣

  5. Chaka Khan, Aretha Franklin or Anita Baker are my guesses. All three were/are known for having a low key nasty streak in them when it comes to other women who can SING sing

  6. I’m surprised none of you are saying THE Anita Baker who is KNOWN for antics like this.

I hate when people in general do this, especially celebrities. It annoys me beyond understanding.

If you’re not going to reveal the characters, don’t tell the story.
