They were never going to let them stay. It became too high profile for them to not make an example of them.

This is just ridiculous at this point, the government are just bunch of power hungry nazis

I just wanna say fuck that immigration judge I hope they get nightmares every single day

I knew they’d never leave them alone. But to be clear, I’m not glad I called it.

Our government terrorizes families and kids, on purpose, for propaganda, and to use fear to put the rest of us in our place. This is beyond grotesque.

“[…] it’s unbelievable that the government is continuing to traumatize them.”

I disagree. It’s extremely believable that the government is continuing to traumatize them. The cruelty is the point.

Can we deport the immigration court, ICE, Trump, and MAGA instead? Deportations to the center of hell.

  7. How am I supposed to go clock in right now knowing this is what’s happening in our country. That poor baby and his family.

These monsters are reveling in the fact that everyone knows this boy and his family now and will use it to every advantage to fill their agenda.

The right enjoys being cruel. They think it shows valor and strength, whereas empathy is weakness. They are evil, despicable people.

  10. It is disgusting that they are fighting tooth and nail to send people to their deaths. People have asylum for a reason.

Trump humilie autant lui même que son pays tout entier et il n’en n’a rien à foutre .

I want to say that I’m embarrassed for our country but this doesn’t feel like my country any more. I don’t recognize anything. What a disgrace. I’d like to see consequences come to those who are allowing this to happen but I have little faith there as well.

  13. Authority hates it when they are proven wrong so of course they continue to double down

I’ve always loved my country, and I’ve never had rose colored glasses in regard to our history. I truly believed that we tried to be better through the years. However I have increasingly become more ashamed of, and dismayed by my government and my fellow citizens who support these actions.

  15. Reminder that these “judges” aren’t your usual judges who are elected or go through a confirmation process. They’re appointed by the DOJ. They are instruments of this administration and their illegal politics.

This absolutely horrendous but I do want to remind everyone that this is the cost of allowing and enabling the right to have rigged the courts these past several decades. We have judges who do not care about anything beyond their emotional support billionaires and are more than happy to enable Nuremberg, antebellum, and Jim Crow levels of human rights violations.

America is not the land of the free… never was. We just have a bunch of fucking norms that are being taken advantage of and trampled over by the rich

  18. This is a truly wild decision because this kid is the face of it right now. The general public is so tired and tuned out that they can get away with a lot, so doubling down on one of the few things everyone’s still willing to get angry about it a crazy move. Keep shooting yourselves in the foot.

I fucking hate this administration and hope with all my heart that the people in it get every single thing they deserve

  20. turb0_encapsulator on

Now that it’s becoming clear that Republican Fascist policy is a total economic failure, they are going to ramp up the hate and divisiveness even further.

  21. We can no longer use ‘unbelievable’ for how this administration acts. We CAN believe it.

Wanton cruelty and abuse of power is their MO
