Animation might serve a series like that better than live action, though I enjoyed the live action version, even with the changes from the books.

Rand here looks a lot like book Rand. Hope this time the characters match what I imagined them to look like. There’s no excuse in animation.
That said, those books are huge. I’m a huge nitpicker when it comes to adaptations, but this is the one adaptation where I wouldn’t blame them for condensing things.

The show by an experienced team should work fine as long as they nail the art style. The video game is less likely to see the light of day, the rights holders aren’t great.

That’s what it always should’ve been. The colors of Arcane and the city itself felt perfect for Wheel of Time. They can draw the patterns and show weavings as well as the crazy stuff that happens without billions in development.
