I highly recommend watching “Shiny Happy People” it’s a documentary mini series about how this family essentially is a part of a cult and promoted it within their TV show; also, how it has invaded politics. In a nutshell, the cult is: victim-blaming, homeschooling with booklets dangerous with propaganda, sexist, racist, revisionist of history, financial abuse toward adult children, and encourages parentification of daughters and abuse towards kids. It’s eye-opening to how millions are living currently. Horrific.
Abuse is routinely swept under the rug all while preaching “Christianity.”
