  1. I recall in a recent film/series he stipulated that he wouldn’t be killed off because he was fed up with the trope.

honestly, it’s wild how many times he bites the dust in films. totally adds to his legacy though! big respect for taking those roles.

  3. He used up all his lives in Sharpe, so he had to die in every movie to make up for it.

  4. So for those that don’t know, he specifically chooses these roles because they kill him.

Early in his career he was in a movie series set in the Napoleonic wars called Sharpe, and Sharpe survived so many deaths over those 15 or so movies that he got annoyed and now loves picking roles where he dies onscreen lol

  5. I know he doesn’t like or hates being killed off. But if I was him I would totslly make a whole career out of pickingrolea that specifically gets the character killed. In a lot of those roles he took he was either the protagonist or the catalyst for the plot of the movie. That’s actually a really good thing imo. So I would own it.

  6. Hate to be that guy but the scene used from Goldeneye he didn’t actually die in. He dies when the dish falls on him.

His greatest most prolific role and best most meaningful death ever was in The Elder Scrolls 4, Oblivion.
