For anyone unaware, this is season 3 of Interview With The Vampire. It’s a show on AMC based on the Anne Rice novels.
The first 2 seasons of this show are perfect television in my opinion. The acting from everyone is phenomenal. The story is great. The cinematography is amazing. It is one of the few 10/10 shows in my opinion.
Sam Reid, who plays Lestat, is cast so perfectly. Jacob Anderson, who plays Louis, is also amazing. The whole cast is. Even both actors who play Claudia.
There is a common power that vampires have in a lot of stuff. It’s like a mind control thing. they can make you focus only on them and listen to only them and do that they say. I don’t really know how to explain it but it feels like this show has that power. Season 1 was great but season 2 I didn’t want to blink because I didn’t want to miss any of the show. I don’t think I looked at my phone at all during the second season. All of my attention went to the show because I felt like I had to pay attention to everything.
This show deserves to be so much bigger than it is. It should be Game Of Thrones level popular with how good it is. Season 3 is a big change up with the name change but it fits with the books.
If you’re wondering about any other shows in the Anne Rice universe there is Mayfair Witches and Talamasca: The Secret Order. Talamasca wasn’t BAD but it wasn’t good. Mayfair Witches is one of the worst shows I have ever watched….Don’t watch those. Just watch Interview With The Vampire.
