Tri-state area legend. From the time I was a kid (80’s) until a couple years ago, this man was on the news in NY on one channel or another.
Even had his name dropped in a Beastie Boys song.

I grew up in the Lower Hudson area so we got all the local NYC news. This guy was definitely a legendary anchor. Right up there with Sue Simmons, Chuck Scarborough and Bill Beutel.
