Cast: David Arquette, Kari Wuhrer (Sliders), Scott Terra, Doug E. Doug and Scarlett Johansson.
Apparently, the movie is inspired by the 1998 short film 'Larger than Life' by the same director.
A comedy-horror homage to the giant insect movies of the 50s like Tarantula (1955), Them (1954), Beginning of the End (1957) & others.
Red Alert: Avoid watching the clip if you’re an arachnophobic.

While obviously CGI, the spiders still look good for its time, and the humor holds up. Great movie.
This movie knew exactly what it was and just went for it. Giant spiders and pure early 2000s chaos.
It’s still fun as hell of a flick too. My kid likes horror, but things can get too scary… But this movie hits the mark with humor and fun.
I watched that movie so damn much.
Scarlett Johansson’s Peak.
Great movie! Two very enthusiastic thumbs up, great family fun!
This is a really fun movie that knows exactly what it is. Highly recommended!
Why do the spiders have little minion voices
It originally was going to be called Arac Attack.. but it was during the Iraq invasion.. so that didn’t work anymore.
As an arachnophobe, I somehow managed to actually enjoy this movie. Only once, though.
at 2:28 in the clip that spider clearly has only two eyes which is just so weird! and if you type in eight legged freaks into google one of the first images is a very different spider hovering above an old man in a recliner and that spider also has exactly 2 eyes! I wonder if it was easier to animate or they just thought it looked cooler but either way its just so weird!
