It’s the way I have been part of various fandoms since I was 12 years old and yet this keeps happening because of some “fans” who don’t know how to behave and act like a devent human. It’s the fact there’s few of them, but they’re so loud about it. Go touch some grass, toxic fans, and leave the actors of HR alone.

There were some truly heinous comments including at least one racist slur on Hudson most recent post. He’s been facing racism for weeks 🙁

This is unsurprising. I thought heated rivalry was fine but it truly has birthed one of the worse fandoms that I have seen in years. On one hand you have people who are extremely weird and racist towards Hudson because he can come off as somewhat annoying. On the other hand you have fans that are extremely homophobic towards Francois since he is ruining their deluded Larryesque fantasy that Hudson and Connor are together.
While I know some people will say they should ignore the “hate” (which is literally racism, homophobia, and death threats) I disagree. If this show is meant to be a on for at least 2 more season I think the insane behavior which is prevalent to concerning degree needs to be called out

as a person I feel very angry on their behalf and annoyed as fuck with this fandom.
as a person in the buddie fandom, where so many of the worst people in said fandom threw a fit and walked away from this show in favor of the HR fandom I do have to laugh. clap even. the HR fandom has vacuumed up the worst of the worst. and I’m glad they’re at the mercy of actors and creators who really are not shy about calling them on their shit.
