My conspiracy theory:
AI media is heavily botted to get it to top charts and beat internet records. The proportion of people that actually support and like this media is a lot lower than we think, but companies are trying to make people who aren’t particularly anti perceive it as normalised so they come around to consuming it.
This is a theory, borderline hallucination maybe, because it is very much based off the side of the internet I see which is strongly anti ~~and also my wishful thinking~~.
