Based on those headshots, I’m sold! They definitely look the part, but I’m unfamiliar with them as actors. Still, I’ll likely check it out, regardless

Charlie Covell (‘The End of the F***ing World’) is writing and showrunning:
>Follows Max (Hopkins), a photography student, who discovers she can rewind time while saving the life of her childhood best friend, Chloe (Stella). As she struggles to understand this new skill, the pair investigate the mysterious disappearance of a fellow student, uncovering a dark side to their town that will ultimately force them to make an impossible life or death choice that will impact them forever.

I didn’t know this was happening, definitely a game that could work well as a TV show.

I don’t hate the casting as much as I hate them trying to do LiS live action. Its a piss poor story that almost entirely works due to the interactivity. LiS is a bad short story on its own merit. I’m interested in seeing how you convey the time powers in a tv setting.

How do you adapt a choose-your-own-adventure story?

I know it won’t happen, but I’d love for Daughter to come back and score the show. Their Before The Storm score is wonderful.

This seems like a bad idea.

Hopefully it’s good, but the issue with adapting games like this is that you gotta make it as emotionally impactful as the game, which I don’t think you can.
Same concern with the Mass Effect show. Don’t know how you make watching Max’s decisions hit as hard as a viewer as when **you** are actually making Max’s decisions

Ngl, in starting to get annoyed with video game shows. Life is strange is a story heavy game, just go play the game if you want the story.

Assuming they won’t be based and have Max go for Warren.

Great news. Looking forward to it

I feel like all the games that would be kinda shitty for a TV show are getting green lit. Meanwhile a game like RDR2 which would be a fantastic game for a show adaptation isn’t. Maybe Rockstar just isn’t interested I guess.
