Wunmi Mosaku says she’s “not sure” if she can forgive BAFTA & BBC for failing to censor the racial slur during the broadcast: “That’s the bit that really kind of kept me awake at night & brought tears to my eyes. I was like, ‘You really chose to keep that in?’ I can’t understand it.”

Yes that man took most of the heat that should be sent their way. Editing out anti-Israel speech but not hate speech? Disgusting

She speaks so well and with so much compassion! The BBC and BAFTA should be deeply ashamed and I wouldn’t be surprised if they see consequences at next year’s ceremony.

I developed a crush on her watching Sinners and this just sealed it for me. She’s absolutely right.

BBC has always been a racist institution, and this was undoubtedly a mask-off moment. And they have the gall to be stiff upper lip about it. Absolutely wretched.

She’s very compassionate and it really pains me for her and all the cast and crew of Sinners that have had this celebratory moment to be clouded by the BBC and the BAFTAs being careless about everyone involved, so I’m also glad that she mentions that Davidson’s condition isn’t the issue for her.

I agree with her and I will also watch anything she is in.

From Lovecraft Country, to Loki, to Sinners. Oh she just deserves the world and more.
