  1. When SNL handles such serious topics, I always feel a bit weird by the way they end the sketch. They all put on a big happy smile and go “It’s Saturday Night Live”. Just make it seem as if it’s all fun and games to them. I think comedy should comment to society and speak truth to power. But the tonality also matters.

    I don’t know what would be a better way for them to do it, but I feel a bit revolted when I see the way they end the sketches. Curious to know what others think.
