We have worse income disparity than the guilded age, yet celebrities whose networth is more than 99% of all Americans are asking for money?

  2. Boohoo. Why do celebrities and their families deserve bailed out more than anyone else? If anything they should have been better with their investments instead of crying poor mouth the second they don’t have money coming in from their cash cow. It’s always about how poor people spend their money on this or that and how dare they, but what about these rich people who’ve had everything anyone could want for decades and still don’t manage their funds right and/or think they deserve more. Fuck em. Regular people are going bankrupt from medical bills every single day. If the rest of us have to make do with what we can afford and earn, then so do they.

    Edit: spelling error

  3. There is no doubt that both of these people had illnesses that cost a fortune to treat even for celebrities but they were both in a position to buy life insurance policies for their children and spouses at the minimum

  4. Working at Hollywood, getting a big role, even if it’s the only one you ever get, makes you more money than the vast majority of people make in their entire lifetime.

Whoever gives money to these people, deserves to be scammed.

  5. Imagine how many people could have gotten medical treatment to *live* from the money you gave people who *died*

That’s life. It’s all about what you do and who you know in this world. If you didn’t realize that growing up and are now a struggling “adult” crying on the internet about others who you presume are well off, then maybe you should start focusing on yourself and getting your shit together.

There is 100% a world where someone we view as a celebrity has fucked up their lives and ended up real world poor and needs help. In that world their celebrity friends should help them.

In most cases it is celebrities getting scared but not realizing that loss for them doesn’t usually make them even near as poor as a regular perspn who would consider themselves financially secure.

If you get the urge to donate to a celebrity, give that money to a reputable charity instead.
